ViVre – OECON participates in new research project on “Intelligent Mobility Solutions”

oecon-ViVrEViVre – Networking virtualized traffic infrastructures and automated driving functions for sustainable mobility solutions

In the long term, a shift of individual vehicle traffic towards intelligent, modern, low-emission and sustainable mobility solutions is necessary because the increased number of commuters increases the demand for demand-oriented local public transport and more flexible connections to rural areas.

The aim of the ViVre project is to network virtualised transport infrastructures and automated driving functions for central transport nodes in order to develop components for innovative and sustainable mobility solutions. In particular, concepts for new virtual stops will be developed, implemented in road traffic and evaluated. Integrated new functions of automated and networked vehicles as well as virtualized infrastructure are developed.
