On March 28, 2019, this year was Future Day. We also allowed some students to sniff into our professional life. Marie, Jonas and Henrik, students of a Braunschweig Gymnasium, accompanied us for one day and were able to gather lots of exciting impressions of our daily work.
After getting to know our research airport a bit closer, the students were able to fully immerse themselves in the subject of eCall. They were able to experience live which functions and areas of application the system covers and had plenty of time to ask our experts all their questions about automatic vehicle emergency calls. In the second part of the day we dealt with drones. Our colleague Markus showed the students how to program the flight path of a drone. With skill and sensitivity, the three of them managed to automatically fly the drone independently on a predefined way.
It was an exciting day for all of us and we’re looking forward to our engineers of tomorrow!
