c-Roads Funktionsprinzip, Quelle: C-Roads Konsortium
C-Roads ist eine offene europäische Plattform zur Entwicklung einheitlicher Standards & Kommunikationslösungen für C-ITS Anwendungen. Als Mitgliedstaat der C-Roads Kooperation wird Deutschland unter Aufsicht der BASt (Bundesanstalt für Straßenwesen) sieben verschiedene C-ITS Dienste entwickeln, testen und weiterentwickeln. Die Ergebnisse werden in die europäische C-Roads Plattform eingebracht und somit wird „C-Roads Germany“ zu einer europaweiten und länderübergreifenden Einführung von C-ITS Diensten beitragen. Im Rahmen des C-Roads Germany Projektes wurden in Deutschland zwei Testgebiete, in Hessen und Niedersachsen, sogenannte Piloten, eingerichtet.
OECON wird ein Teil der folgenden Aktivitäten in Niedersachsen sein:
- Warndienst für Stau oder stockenden Verkehr
- In-Fahrzeug-Informationen
- Dienst zur Erfassung der Verkehrslage
- Integration Verkehrsmanagementzentrale
Hintergrund & Motivation
Behörden und Straßenbetreiber in ganz Europa arbeiten zusammen an einem Konzept, die Entwicklungen im Bereich Kooperativer intelligenter Transport Systeme (C-ITS – cooperative intelligent transport systems) innerhalb Europas zu harmonisieren und aufeinander abzustimmen. Die Entwicklung einheitlicher Spezifikationen und Standards sind dafür essentiell. Die europaweite Verbindung aller C-ITS Entwicklungen ermöglicht intensives Testen über Ländergrenzen hinweg und macht länderübergreifende C-ITS Services möglich, welche die Grundlage für vernetztes und automatisiertes Fahren und kompatible länderübergreifende C-ITS Services für Verkehrsteilnehmer sind. Bereits 8 Mitgliedsstaaten (Österreich, Belgien / Flandern, Tschechische Republik, Frankreich, Deutschland, Niederlande, Großbritannien und Slowenien) beteiligen sich an diesem Projekt und entwickeln Pilot Anwendungen. In Deutschland gibt es zwei Testumgebungen (Hessen & Niedersachsen).

[:en]Pilot site for testing harmonised standards regarding the deployment of transnational C-ITS Services
The C-Roads Platform is an open platform for the development of standards and communication solutions for transnational and interoperable C-ITS services. As member of the C-Roads cooperation Germany will contribute by the findings of the implementation and operation of in total seven different C-ITS services, which will be deployed in two different pilot sites and harmonised by the Federal Highway Research Institute (BASt).
OECON will be a part of the following activities:
- Slow or Stationary Vehicle Ahead Warning Service (SSVW)
- In-Vehicle Information / In-Vehicle Signage Service
- Probe Vehicle Data Service (PVD)
- Traffic Management Centre Integration (main activity)
Background & Motivation
The C-Roads platform has kicked off in Europe, bringing together authorities and road operators from 11 Member States (Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Slovenia and United Kingdom). The aim of the C-Roads Platform is to develop harmonised specifications taking the EU-C-ITS platform recommendations into account, linking all C-ITS deployments and planning intensive cross-testing. The C-Roads Platform is making cross-border C-ITS services a reality today and building the foundations for connected and automated vehicles.
